Staying on the Move in Not-Moving Future

I think we used to feel more excited about welcoming a new year. We would make more wishes and buy more gifts, enthusiasm was prominent while farewelling the year. Moreover, there was a belief that the future would be “better”.

Based on the authority given to us by our belief that the future will be a better place, we would hear more new year-based statements, such as "I will do sports in the new year”, “I will spend more time for myself in the new year”, etc. Now we are so appalled by the course of world temporality that we cannot form any hopeful statement. Maybe we no longer think about the rapid transformation the world has undergone in the last 2-3 years, we are just in it. But most of us agree that we are obviously in a strange atmosphere which creates a strong tension.

Imagine, no one in your life is this close to you, except your body! Discovering it makes it possible for you to live a fulfilling life.

Even though it is sometimes difficult to convince our rational mind to this approach below, it always remains functional:

“The world is exactly as it should be, nothing more, nothing less. That's exactly how it is.”

Our environment is often covered with bewailing about what a bad time we are in, what a disgraceful time we are in. These talks include us too. Or, on the opposite pole, there are those who say, "Life is just full of peace, beauty, joy and bed of roses." We can't seem to meet the half way. We pull the rubber to one side, then we let go, it hits the other side.

The world was not more beautiful or uglier; And it will not be more beautiful or uglier.

What we think about the world can change our world; But, will it change “the world”?

Well, maybe.

However, all these words remain on the surface, because we force ourselves to accept these thoughts. We do not internalise them; Our fight with the world is growing.

By saying World, I mean the environment we currently live in, our surroundings and the physical space we are in.

So, what would we do to get along with the world?

Of course, we will work with the structure that is our means of experiencing the world…

The body.

More and more I understand the importance of emphasizing this over and over again, because we quickly lose activity. We can handle so much work from where we sit, so that movement gradually disappears. In a sense, we have all become people who speaking from the seat?

As the need for movement reduces, the body's reactions increase and symptoms appear. 

Our body has not yet caught up with our minds, consciousness and with what’s going on.

It couldn't keep up with the speed of the screens.

It is actually very clear that all the problems we overestimate will not end with just 30 minutes of exercise per a day. But they could become much lighter; in other words, it is clear that our body will become alive and strong to bear all these problems.

Despite this, it is interesting that we are resisting the movement so much. I do not think this resistance will decrease. In fact, it will increase day by day.

It is useful to be aware of this and take some precautions.

To do this, find an activity that your body really enjoys and moves. This could be cycling, cleaning, going to a club, an experimental sexual intercourse, walking on a beach, playing with children, dancing, or doing yoga. I underline the word pleasure here because we are not trying to torture the body in the name of exercise. The more you force yourself to engage in physical activities that you don't like, the more your body will resist.

Find what you like and “Just do it!”

Didn't like anything? Then try something else.

I don't look at the future with hope, nor do I look hopeless.

But I know that that magical quality of movement that belongs to animals, humans and nature, will decrease as time goes by. Perhaps it will disappear completely at later times that we cannot foresee.

We will handle everything automatically and with minimal movement.

Still, let's continue the movement as much as we can. For example, we could go out for a walk in a park when we're deep in thought; We could move around the house, tidy up and organize; Or, we could create deliberate events for movement space.

So that our body can adapt to us.

So that our physical existence is honored and becomes a basis for us to carry all our spiritual/mental expansions and implement them in the world.

Imagine, no one in your life is this close to you, except your body! Discovering it makes it possible for you to live a fulfilling life.

As we move towards the future in 2023, shall we intend for these?

As I continue my development, I make my body my friend.

I give my body time to absorb and transform all the information.

I stop asking my body only to be healthy and to serve my mind.

I provide my body's daily need for movement.

I give back to my body the right to be an advanced animal.

So that maybe then my body will offer me its gifts.

When I stopped treating him like a servant…
