About Workshop
"Body image" refers to the thoughts, emotions, sensations, and perceptions one holds about their physical appearance. Our body image can shift over time, or it may retain certain constants: a specific part of our body, a recurring sensation, or a thought we habitually associate with ourselves may always linger in our awareness.
In this workshop, we will gently open the door to our body image, exploring it both internally and externally. Using dance and movement therapy techniques, alongside writing exercises, we will take steps to understand it more deeply—and, if desired, perhaps even transform it.
